NewWoods Awarded $1 Million Grant
Woods, celebrating 100 years as a leading advocacy and service organization for people with exceptional challenges and disabilities and complex needs, is pleased to announce it has received a $1 million grant from The Donald B. and Dorothy L. Stabler Foundation for the renovation and addition to the Stabler Center for Vocational and Cognitive Services at Beechwood NeuroRehab.

Woods Celebrates 100 Years of Service
Between now and December 2013, we will celebrate all that Woods has accomplished over the last century. As events and activities unfold, we will post them on our website and communicate our plans to you via email communications and mailings.

Scientific Foundations of Autism Written by Woods Psychiatrist
Woods is pleased to announce the publication of a book, "The Autism Spectrum: Scientific Foundations and Treatments" written by Woods' Director of Psychiatry, Dr. Mark Reber.

2011 Summer Woods' World
Ms. Diana L. Ramsay, MPP, OTR, FAOTA, took office in July as the sixth president is Woods' distinguished history. Ms. Ramsay spent time with us for a Question and Answer story that can also be viewed in video format at www.woods.org/president2011.

2011 Spring Woods' World
Music therapy can be a tremendous supplement to other clinical interventions for some Woods' residents. Dr. Robert Griffith reflects on John McHale's contributions to Woods over his 21 years leading Human Resources and then as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. Mr. McHale and Dr. Griffith will be retiring from Woods at the same time.
